The Organizers of the 2025 Old Students Sports Fiesta have announced Sunday, 29th June as the date for the final of the Maiden edition of the championship scheduled for Durbar Stadium,Oyo .
In a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Hyzik Media Concept Nigeria, Dayo Ojo and made available to journalists on Friday, indicated that Ladigbolu Grammar School Old Students and Olivet Baptist High School Old Students will battle for the ultimate prize in the Old Students Football Championship Final by 2pm shortly after Oba Adeyemi Old Students and their St. Bernardine’s Grammar School counterpart would engage themselves in the 3rd place match.
The statement further added that the final of the championship packaged by Hyzik Media Concept Nigeria will see distinguished personalities and sport lovers, all Old Students from reputable secondary schools in Oyo State,compete in the Old Students penalty challenge and Old Students 100m/ 200m races .
The penalty challenge according to the statement shall feature Former Member, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Isiaka Kazeem Arole, Chairman, Atiba Local Government, Hon. Waliu Adetunji (WABKEM), Oyo East Local Government Chairman, Hon .Olushola Oluokun , Vice Chairman, Oyo East Local Government, Hon . Wasiu Mustapha also known as WASPHA and President, Oyo Premier Club, Barrister Jide Olanipekun
Others include Barrister Mazi Adegoke and Kabiyesi, Oba Onimole, Okiki Ifa Baba Awo among others.
The championship which featured four schools was organized in partnership with ACE SUPERMARKET and Emmy Tee Fitness Enterprise.
