The mega declaration of intention of ACCORD in Oluyole local government area of Ibadan, Oyo state presented another ample opportunity for Ambassador Shakirullah Jimoh-Orankan to unbundle his lofty vision for Oyo Central Senatorial District.
The colourful event, which was graced by bigwigs in ACCORD, including the National Secretary, Hon. (Dr) Adebukola Abiola Ajaja, the party’s Oyo state Working Committee under the leadership of Prince Kolade Ojo and party supporters in their hundreds gathered mammoth crowd which sent jitters down the spine of other contending political parties.
Ambassador Orankan whose motorcade was ushered into the open field of Jogbin Community Primary School, Ibadan, venue of the event, by cheerful supporters, clad in Yellow branded T-shirt and Fez Cap to match, waiving Hands-on Banners with a big and bold placards displaying pictures of their beloved aspirant and Dr Hamzat Oriyomi, no doubt enjoyed massive grassroots support.
As a mark of strong loyalty, the supporters also defied the rainfall with standing ovation to listen to address from Ambassador Orankan and Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat.
In a Media chat, Ambassador Orankan hinted that his ambition is for humanity sake; not an aspiration for personal enrichment or selfish interests.
“Our constituency deserves a human face representation, we must turn our challenges to better opportunities”, Orankan declared.
The Oyo Central Senatorial hopeful stressed that he has a comprehensive plan to take care of all human needs from birth till old age, and that the initiative will be well implemented through responsible legislation.
“Nigeria is blessed with enough resources to cater for our needs; I will ensure everyone gets his/her entitlement from the common wealth”, said he.
Ambassador Orankan, who is also the Aare Alaranse Adinni of Oyo state pointed out that he has to his credit many community development projects such as thousands of Solar powered Boreholes nationwide, Schools, Orphanages, Hospitals, especially the multi-billion naira world class hospital at Mosfala area, Ibadan, promised to facilitate more dividends of good representation for the people.
Ambassador Orankan said he is a known and globally recognized provider of social amenities to make life comfortable for all, irrespective of religion, ethnicity, and status, who has integrity to protect.
He commended the party supporters, members of the Orankan Support Group, (OSG), the leadership of the Irorun-Ni Charitable Foundation Nigeria (ICF), including the Vice Chairman, Sheikh Mansur Abdusalaam-Murtadho and the National Treasurer, Ambassador (Dr) Musa Alongbija (JP), party leader, Alhaji Lateef Arowosaye, and the teeming members for their unflinching supports and resilient efforts towards emplacing good representation for the good people of Oyo Central Senatorial District at the Red Chamber in Abuja.
Ambassador Orankan encouraged them to continue to mobilise people for ACCORD to record resounding victory in the 2027 general election.
