The Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. The Commissioner further noted that Oyo State was also honored to being one of the only 3 States from the previous edition’s top 15 that improved their positions in the latest ranking,
Adding that the others within the top 15 recorded a decline in ranking.
He attributed the achievement to the support and commitment of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, particularly his administration’s continued support for environmental and climate governance initiatives in the State.
He assured that the Ministry would build on the achievement by strengthening its climate governance efforts and implementing more strategic measures aimed at improving Oyo State’s performance.
