No fewer than 226 Lagos State pilgrims on the fourth flight have embarked on ziyarah (visitation to historical sites) in Makkah.
This took place on Saturday, May 24, 2025 after performing the Tawaf-ul-Kudum and running the Sai (Safar and Marwa) for Umrah in the Kaabah.

Led by the immediate past Chairman of Ulamah, Alh. Muhsin Ajagbemokeferi, the pilgrims visited the plain of Arafah, Mina, Muzdalifah, Jamarat (site for throwing of pebbles) and some other places of interest for site seeing before the main Hajj rituals commence in few days to come.

Ajagbemokeferi stated that the visitation was necessary in order for the pilgrims to have first-hand information and know the history behind them in Islam. He added that the mountain would not be easily accessible on the day of Arafah because of the huge presence of adherents, hence, the pre-visit.
