
A high-profile security operation was conducted at the Kaduna International Airport, leading to the arrest of six suspected bandits assumed to be among the pilgrims who took part in the just concluded Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Department of State Services (DSS) and its sister agencies made the arrest on Tuesday morning .
The suspects were seen in a flight carrying Nigerian pilgrims back to the country from Saudi Arabia.

According to report , arrested individuals include ; Hajara Halidu, Haruna Aliyu and Idris Suleiman from Giwa LGA .
Others were Hadiza Iliyasu, the mother of the late notorious bandit leader , Buharin Daji, Safiya Iliyasu, Buharin, Daji’s ex-wife, and Abdullahi Iliyasu, reported to be the brother of the deceased bandit leader.
Following their arrest, the suspects were immediately taken into custody by security personnel for interrogation and investigation.
Recall that security operatives apprehended Sani Galadi, an alleged kidnap kingpin, at the Sokoto Airport as he attempted to depart for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
