
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has appointed Mr Ademola Daini as the new General Manager of Osun State Sports Council following the retirement of Mr Rotimi Dunmoye.
Mr Daini, whose appointment takes effect immediately was full of smiles as he picked up his letter this morning.
Speaking with journalists shortly after his pronouncement , Mr Daini thanked the Governor of the state, Governor Adeleke and his deputy, who doubles as Commissioner for Sports, Prince Kola Adewusi for counting him worthy to take the mantle of leadership of the Sports Council .
He promised to do his best to repay their trust in him by working assiduously for the growth of sports in the State.
” It is imperative that I show appreciation to the Governor of the state and his deputy for believing in me. They have demonstrated that they believe in competency over every other things.”
” They have shown to the world that they are good people who wants the best for state in sports as well as all other sectors.”
” Surely, they say to whom much is given, much is expected. I want to promise that I would not betray their trust in me. I will work with all and sundry to ensuring that Osun State becomes the trailblazers in sports.” Said Mr Daini.
Before his appointment as the General Manager, Mr Ademola Daini was the Director Sports, Coaching and Training at Osun State Sports Council.
Mr Daini is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear as he takes up his new role.
