The management of the Nationwide League One Side, Ejigbo City Football Club, under the leadership of Mr. Mubarak Shangare, on Thursday , announced Coach Lawal Wasiu as the team’s New Head Coach .
The appointment of the gaffer is part of the preparation of the team ahead of the 2025 league season.
Speaking shortly after putting pen on paper in Ejigbo, Osun State, Coach Lawal, appreciated the president of the club and his team for finding him worthy of the job .
He expressed readiness to build a strong and united team that will make the club proud .
“Thanks to President Mubarak Shangare , and the entire management team of Ejigbo City FC , for this great honor . I am truly grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me to lead this team as Head Coach”

Coach Lawal Wasiu had worked with many clubs both in Nigeria and Abroad. He had a spell with Wikki Tourist, Kogi United , ABS, Ilorin, Ewedje FC probe, Benin Republic and many more.
