The Nigerian Football Coaches Association (NFCA), Oyo State Chapter, has extended its deepest condolences to Shooting Stars family over the demise of their new coach, Akin Olowokere.
The association equally condoled the immediate family of the deceased and his well -wishers for the great loss.
This was conveyed through a release signed by the Secretary of the Association, Coach Daniel Adegbola and made available to journalists on Monday.
The Association described Coach Akin Olowokere as a dedicated and respected member of the coaching community, whose passion for football, humility, and commitment to the development of Nigerian football were hallmarks of his distinguished career.
The statement said further “On behalf of the NFCA, we extend our deepest condolences to his immediate family, Shooting Stars SC, colleagues, players, and all those who were touched by his life and work. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time”
“Coach Akin Olowokere’s appointment to the technical bench of 3SC was a testament to his rising star in Nigerian football, reflecting the trust and confidence that his peers and superiors had in his abilities. His passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt across the Nigerian coaching fraternity”
