Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has shown his support for Dr. Yinka Ayefele, Chairman of Fresh FM as the governor handed over a brand-new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) to the music legend on Tuesday.
This gesture comes after a recent fire incident at Fresh FM’s Music House, Challenge, Ibadan .
The music Icon was full of praises to God during the presentation of the vehicle done on behalf of the governor by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters; Hon Ademola Iyanda, Chief Press Secretary to the governor; Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, and Mrs Bosede Sodiq, Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast, Mrs .Bosede Sodiq .
Dr. Ayefele also expressed gratitude to the governor for the gift and governor’s concern for the well-being of the station and its staff.
Recall that the fire incident which occurred last Friday, affected several parts of the station, including studios and offices. Governor Makinde visited the scene to assess the level of the damage and assured that the state government would provide assistance to help the station recover from the incident.
The gift was received by Dr. Ayefele and the Fresh FM team, who are grateful for the governor’s kindness and support.
This gesture highlights the governor’s dedication and willingness to support key stakeholders.
