The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared Governor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the winner of the November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election.
The final results were announced on Sunday at INEC’s collation centre in Awka, the state capital, following the completion of the collation process across all local government areas.

According to the electoral body, Soludo garnered a total of 422,664 votes to secure re-election. His closest rival, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), polled 99,445 votes, while Paul Chukwuma of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) came third with 37,753 votes.
Other contenders included George Moghalu of the Labour Party (LP), who recorded 10,576 votes, and John Nwosu of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who received 8,208 votes.
With this victory, Soludo is set to continue his administration under the APGA banner, extending his tenure as governor of Anambra State.
