Your years of service have not gone unnoticed,” Prince Ogunjumi stated. “As a club that relies on the peace and security of our society to groom young talent, we understand that without your efforts, the country would not be safe for us to improve sports activities. We are joined by a shared goal: trying to make Nigeria safer and better for everyone.”
DC Dayo Ralph Akinbisehin praised the club for the initiative, noting that such gestures of appreciation boost the morale of both serving and retired officers. The retired officers also expressed gratitude to Prince Abayomi Ogunjumi and his team for remembering them in their retirement and for recognizing the important link between discipline in sports and discipline in security service.
In a kind gesture to support the wellbeing of the retirees and encourage an active post-service life, the club donated high quality sets of jerseys to the officers. The sports materials are intended to promote camaraderie, fitness, and a continued sense of community among the veterans.
