Coach Aliyu Zubair-led Telecom SC saw their Egyptian Cup journey come to an end after a 2–0 defeat to ENPPI SC in the quarter-final clash played on Saturday night.
Despite a spirited effort, Telecom were unable to break down their opponents, who capitalized on key chances to secure progression, after conceding the two goals in the extra time.
The team, under the gudiance of Coach Aliyu Zubair, fought bravely but ultimately fell short as ENPPI advanced to the next round of the competition.
It would be recalled that Coach Zubair had qualified Telecom to their first-ever quarter final appearance of the prestigious Egyptian Cup.
Telecom SC produced one of the biggest shocks of the Egypt Super Cup Round of 32 with a remarkable 2–1 comeback victory over African giants , Al Ahly, inspired by a tactically astute performance from head Coach ,Aliyu Zubair.
The team will now shift attention to the league as they continue to push forward.
