Former D’Tigers captain, Olumide Oyedeji, would on Friday, April 10 , 2026 bury his late mother , Deaconess Felicia Omolayo Moriyike, who gave the ghost at the age of 81.
The burial , according to the release made available to newsmen by the former captain of the Nigeria’s Senior Basketball team will hold in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The release states that the Christian Wake keep will hold on Thursday, April 9 2026 at the Blood of Jesus Apostolic Church, Oke-Alafia, Jagun Bus stop, Old-Ife Road, Ibadan by 4:30pm with white and magenta, the colours of the day.
On Friday, 10th April, 2026, lying in State at her residence by 7am to 9am , while the Funeral Service will take place at the Blood of Jesus Apostolic Church, Oke -Anu, Akintola Road, Ekotedo, Ibadan by 10am, and Internent follows at her residence.
Reception will hold at the Sunlight Royal Event Centre, Ring Road, Ibadan. Champagne Gold/Brown are the official colours of the day.
