It was a moment of joy and thanksgiving as the family of Mr. Adetunji Ajala gave their daughter in marriage to the family of Baale Oniya, Paakoyi , Oyo state , Chief Moshood Adeniyi Adegoke.
Adedayo Adegoke and Adedoyin Ajala becomes soulmate on Saturday, 10th January, 2026 . Traditional rulers, family members, friends, business associates , professional colleagues gathered from far and near to celebrate the new couple at Somolu Local Government Secretariat, Lagos State .
Eminent personalities who graced the colourful wedding ceremony were Oba Yoruba Bauchi, Ilufemiloye 1, Alhaji Tirimisiyu Tijjani Adegoke , Mrs. Adetutu Alawusa Asake and a host of others.
Speaking on the occasion, the father of the bride, Mr. Adetunji Ajala, expressed profound gratitude to God and appreciation to guests following the wedding ceremony of his daughter.
Mr. Ajala , a professional printer by trade, described the occasion as a moment of deep joy and thanksgiving, noting that the event was special to him been the first time to conduct a wedding for one of his children, an experience he admitted he never fully imagined would come to pass.
He gave glory to God for good health, provision, and the overwhelming show of love from family, friends, and well-wishers.
He advised members of the public and the new couple to cultivate a habit of gratitude, stressing that daily thanksgiving to God is essential for appreciating life’s blessings.
On his part, the groom, Mr. Adegoke Adedayo Ibrahim, described the day as an emotional and unforgettable milestone.
Reflecting on how he never thought the wedding would come so soon, Adedayo said he was overwhelmed with happiness, noting that while the joy of the day was intense and unique, it would remain a cherished memory as he begins married life with his bride, Adedoyin Taiwo Ajala .
He acknowledged the contributions of both the families and friends to the success of the wedding ceremony while thanking the guests for their presence and lofty gifts.
