provides Scholarship Opportunities
More than 10,000 people thronged Apata, Ido Local Government Area, on Saturday as Hon. Aderemi Oseni, member representing Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, unveiled a ₦50 million empowerment scheme for traders and scholarship opportunities for students.
The event, which doubled as the Grand General Meeting of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF), brought together artisans, market women, youth leaders, political stakeholders, and community elders.

Addressing the crowd, Oseni described the gathering as both a “homecoming” to his political base and proof of a rising grassroots revolution.
“Some weeks ago, we inaugurated ROCOF in Ibadan. That day, a flame of hope was lit. Today in Ido, that flame has become a roaring fire. From zero, we now have over 265,000 registered members across Oyo State, and by December 2025, we will be 500,000 strong. This is not by accident,it is evidence that our people are hungry for change and thirsty for hope.”
