Team Osun, represented by Lanreleke Sports Academy ended their campaign as runner -up in the female category of the 25th Nestle MILO National Basketball Championship played at the National Stadium , Surulere , Lagos .
The team lost to Government Secondary School , Karu , Abuja (55-42 ) in the final that appears to be their first appearance in the championship.
Team Osun won the Fair Play Award , a testament to their spirit of sportsmanship and discipline throughout the championship.
Meanwhile, Government Girls Secondary School, Yola (Adamawa) , came third, while St. Jude’s Girls Secondary School, Bayelsa finished fourth on the log .
Onireke High School , Oyo and Ahmadiyya College, Kano secured fifth and sixth position respectively.
Team Osun led by Coach Ajibola Taiwo Eleniyan defeated Team Oyo, Abuja and Yola to book a spot in the final .
