The Federal Government has commenced the payment of N77,000 new monthly allowance to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.
Hotspot Bulletin.com gathered that the Corps Members have started receiving the new monthly allowance.
A serving Corps Member in Oyo State ,Sodiq Olayiwola confirmed payment of the said amount on Friday.
” The government has started paying but I am yet to receive mine due to the issue I have with my bank account. I have visited the bank , I was told it will be resolved. He said.
Recall that a pay increase was announced in September 2024 by President Bola Tinubu .
Serving Corps Members were previously paid #33, 000 introduced by the former President, Muhammadu Buhari .
