

The Federal Government has honored Miss Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu of the Nigerian Tulip International College , Yobe State for making the country proud in the just concluded English language skills 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London.
The 17- year old Nigerian outshone over 20,000 participants from 69 countries to clinch the world title .
Speaking, the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, and the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suiwaba Sa’id Ahmad, hailed Nafisa’s remarkable feat, describing her as “a beacon of excellence and inspiration to Nigerian youths.”
The ministers noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated a strong commitment to human capital development through increased investment in education, health, and social protection.
The Federal Government has pledged to continue supporting young talents who bring honor to the nation.
Nafisa’s achievement is a testament to the potential of Nigerian youths to compete and excel globally.
The recognition ceremony was attended by a high-level delegation from Yobe State, including the Commissioner of Information, Commissioner for Basic Education, and Director General of Media and Press Affairs.
The Yobe State Government has consistently paid its matching grants to the Universal Basic Education Commission, demonstrating its commitment to foundational education.
