Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahmon AbdulRasaq has rewarded athletes who made the state proud in the last National Sports Festival held in Abeokuta, tagged ” Ogun 2024″
The governor also put smiles on faces of the former Kwara United Football Club players on Friday with the payment of their arrears, amounting to #201 Million.
One Million Naira goes to each of the gold medalists , Five Hundred Thousand for Silver medalist , while bronze medalist will gets Three Hundred Thousand Naira .
Recall that Kwara clinched 14th position at the sports festival.
