
The Kebbi State Government has approved a ₦10 billion loan to assist intending pilgrims in completing their 2026 Hajj payments within the next ten days.
The announcement was made by the Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruk Aliyu Yaro (Jagaban Gwandu), during a media briefing at the Agency’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi.
According to the chairman, the loan approved by Governor Comr. Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) is aimed at easing the financial burden on pilgrims and ensuring they meet the payment deadline of 16 December 2025.


The hinted that Flynas Airline will handle the airlift of Kebbi State pilgrims, with the first flight scheduled for 3 May 2026.
” Flynas has successfully airlifted Kebbi pilgrims in 2024 and 2025, and is expected to continue the same standard in 2026″
The Agency urged all the intending pilgrims to take advantage of the 10-day payment window, emphasizing that the loan was specifically designed to increase the number of pilgrims from the state.
