Manchester City claimed Carabao Cup with a composed 2–0 victory over Arsenal at Wembley Stadium, sealing the title with a clinical second-half performance.
After a tightly contested first half ended goalless, City returned from the break with greater urgency and precision. Nico O’Reilly broke the deadlock in the 60th minute before doubling the lead just four minutes later, effectively putting the final beyond Arsenal’s reach.
Despite the result, Arsenal showed flashes of attacking intent. Both sides recorded 10 shots, but the Gunners were wasteful, hitting the woodwork twice and missing three big chances.
City, meanwhile, controlled proceedings with 62% possession and demonstrated their trademark efficiency.
The victory further cements Manchester City’s domestic dominance, while Arsenal are left to reflect on missed opportunities .
