Nigerian Switzerland based Coach, Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony says there is still hope for the Super Eagles of Nigeria to feature in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In a telephone chat with varsatile sport presenter, Faith Akindele ( Mr Stereo) on his Sport show” Sport Gallery “on Crowther 88.5 FM OYO , Coach Adedeji , explained that it is very difficult for anyone to predict the outcome of a game , saying that anything can happen in the game of football .

Reacting to Mike Obi and Olise comments on World Cup Qualification , Coach Adedeji Adeyemi said the duo should wait till the qualifications are over before they start to condemn anybody because things can turn around for Nigeria.
He opined that Super Eagles struggle for world cup ticket could be traced to Coach jose Pesiro era .
He expressed confidence in the ability of the Super Eagles Coach , Eric seko Chelle, describing him as the right man for Super eagles.
On the possibilities of Nigeria winning AFCON in Morocco, Coach Adedejin said he can’t beat his chest that Nigeria will win the AFCON, noting that engaging in some grade “A”friendly like the one they will play against South America side Venezuela in November will really help the team to prepare well and anything can happen in Morocco.
Coach Adedeji , however, advised Nigerians to be patriotic about their country and always show support not just condemned always.
He called on relevant stakeholders , particularly those in the helms of affairs to look into various ways of Developing football with well-structured professional league, alongside youths league such as U-15, U17 U21 and U21 from grassroots.
“We must recognize that inadequate investment will not yield optimal results on the field or else Nigeria will find it difficult to qualify for another world cup until they do the right thing because football is not a rocked science”.
