Nigerian Switzerland-based football coach, Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony, has charged the Super Eagles of Nigeria to approach their next Africa Cup of Nations group game against Tunisia with total commitment and renewed intensity.
Speaking on a sports programme anchored by Faith Akindele (Mr. Stereo) on Crowther 88.5 FM, Oyo, Coach Adeyemi expressed dissatisfaction with Nigeria’s performance in their opening match against Tanzania.
While acknowledging the victory, he noted that the display fell below expectations .He opined that there is significant room for improvement.

According to the coach, the Super Eagles often struggle against so-called weaker opponents due to complacency, but tend to raise their game when facing stronger teams. He warned that Tunisia will pose a serious challenge and insisted that Nigeria can only secure a positive result if the players approach the match with full determination and discipline.
He urged the team to be more focused, organized, and mentally prepared for the game .
Coach Adeyemi also reminded the players of the responsibility they carry, noting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has fulfilled his commitments to the team, which should serve as added motivation. He called on the Super Eagles to demonstrate patriotism, give their all on the pitch, and make Nigerians proud in the tournament.
