Nigerian Switzerland based Coach , Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony, has attributed Nigeria’s National team problem to lack of structure and investment in youth football .
Coach Adedeji made this known during a live Sport show on Crowther 88.5 FM Oyo, anchored by Faith Akindele .

On the defeat of Nigeria by Dr Congo in the World Cup playoffs, Coach Adedeji said the team lost because the leadership in the sporting industry, particularly, football failed to look inward and invest in youth football like U17, U20, and U23 .
“When last has super eagles promote players from the youth teams to the national team? this is the basis of our problem”
Coach Adedeji opined that Dr Congo remain a team to watch , adding that they put up a good fight against Cameroon and the Super Eagles.
“Dr Congo deserved to win , they played well, their population might not be much but they surprised many people”
.
He said further that the Super Eagles technical crew should not rely only on certain players , saying that the team was unable to find its rhythm since the exit of Victor Oshimen during the last game .
Coach Adedeji, however, expressed confidence in the ability of Eric seko Chelle , saying “He is still the right man to lead the Super Eagles, the only coach in Nigeria I think can take over from him is samson Saisai or Amunike, though not doing well with Heartland FC . So, I believe if we can stick to Eric Seko Chelle and support him, he will definitely deliver”
