One of the biggest talking points of the round came in Katsina, where Kwara United claimed a crucial 2–1 away victory over Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.

At the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, Rangers International produced one of the standout performances of the weekend, crushing Remo Stars 4–1 in a commanding display. The emphatic victory strengthened Rangers’ push in the league standings while dealing a heavy blow to Remo Stars’ ambitions.

In Port Harcourt, Rivers United also impressed with a 3–1 triumph over Bendel Insurance at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium. The hosts controlled large periods of the match to secure all three points in front of their home supporters.
Another surprising result came in Ozoro where Warri Wolves defeated nine-time champions Enyimba 2–1 at the Southern Delta University Stadium. The victory marked a significant upset and boosted the Wolves’ campaign.
In Jos, Plateau United dominated Niger Tornadoes with a convincing 3–0 win, while Abia Warriors continued their strong form with a comfortable 2–0 victory against Shooting Stars in Umuahia.
At the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano Pillars edged Barau FC 1–0 in a tightly contested encounter, while Nasarawa United secured a slim 1–0 win over Ikorodu City in Lafia.
On Saturday, Wikki Tourists kicked off the round with a 2–1 victory against El Kanemi Warriors at the New Jos City Stadium.
Meanwhile, Kun Khalifat FC also recorded a narrow 1–0 win over Bayelsa United at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.
