It was another memorable Sunday evening in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) as clubs across the country battled for crucial points on Matchday 12
In Enugu, Rangers International continued their fine home form with a narrow 1-0 victory over Shooting Stars, delighting the home fans at the Cathedral. The victory keeps Rangers within touching distance of the league leaders.

At the Lafia Township Stadium, Nasarawa United were held to a 1-1 draw by Kwara United in a tightly contested encounter, while in Bauchi, Wikki Tourists edged Niger Tornadoes 1-0 to claim maximum points in front of their supporters.
Kano Pillars and Bayelsa United shared the spoils in a goalless draw, with both sides could not convert their chances.
The highlight of the day came in Warri, where Ikorodu City stunned Warri Wolves with an impressive 2-0 away win, further boosting their confidence in what has been a solid campaign for the Lagos-based side.
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated Abia Derby between Abia Warriors and Enyimba International ended in a 0-0 draw. Despite the tense atmosphere, neither side could find a breakthrough, as both defenses held firm throughout the encounter.
With these results, the NPFL table remains tight at both ends, as teams continue to jostle for early dominance in the 2025/2026 season
