The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has inaugurated Renewed Hope Ambassadors across the state’s 33 local government areas, marking a strategic step toward strengthening the party’s grassroots structure ahead of forthcoming political activities.
The inauguration ceremony, held at the APC State Secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, attracted top party leaders and stakeholders, including the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, and the Oyo State Renewed Hope Ambassador, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin.
The event was characterized by enthusiasm, unity, and a strong display of party solidarity. Speakers at the gathering emphasized the importance of discipline, harmony, and cooperation among party members, stressing that these values must be reflected not only in words but in action.

Addressing the newly inaugurated ambassadors, party leaders charged them to consolidate the APC’s presence at the grassroots by building solid structures from polling units through wards and local governments, up to constituency levels. They were urged to sustain the spirit of unity within their respective local governments to ensure effective mobilisation and coordination.
Senator Alli, in his remarks, commended Senator Folarin for his leadership and initiatives as the State Renewed Hope Ambassador, noting that his efforts have consistently yielded positive outcomes for the party.
He also advised party faithful to maintain decorum and orderliness as the party prepares for its forthcoming congresses.
The Oyo South senator further used the occasion to commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his commitment to national development, describing him as a rare symbol of hope and renewed leadership for Nigeria. He called on APC members to continue supporting the president’s vision as he works toward national transformation.
The inauguration is widely seen as a significant move to reposition the Oyo APC for stronger cohesion, effective grassroots engagement, and improved electoral preparedness across the state.
