The pioneer students of the Osun State Polytechnic Iree and University of Ilorin degree affiliated programme have been warned to be of good characters and uphold such at all times.
Vice -chancellor , University of Ilorin, Prof Wahab Egbewole gave the warning on Friday during the maiden matriculation ceremony of the degree affiliated programme of the institutions,held at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
Represented at the event by Prof Yahya Imam, the Vice – Chancellor congratulated the students for being part of the history, stating that the institutions will not hesitate to punish any student who might misbehave during the period of study.
In his remarks, the Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi thanked Osun State Government, led by Senator Ademola Adeleke, for supporting the institution. He also appreciated University of Ilorin’s Vice -chancellor, Prof. Wahab Egbewole, and Prof. Yahya Imam for their collaboration.
Nnamidi Azikiwe University, Awka, and Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Degree Affiliated Programme new intake students also matriculated.
The epoch making events mark a milestone in the history of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
