Switzerland Based Coach, Adedeji Adeyemi, has praised Super Falcons of Nigeria for reaching the final of the ongoing Women Africa Cup of Nations ( WAFCON) .
Coach Adeyemi said that the team need to improve on its goal scoring as they prepare to face Morocco today in the final game slated for 8pm Nigeria time .
Speaking from his base early this morning on a Sport Show “Sports Gallery ” on Crowther 88.FM, Oyo anchored by Faith Akindele , popularly known as Mr. Stereo Coach Ayeni ,called for improved performance for the super falcons to outshine Morocco in the final .
Coach Adeyemi expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Super Falcons Coach , Coach Justine Maidugu , describing him as the right man for the job .
His words:” I congratulate the Super Falcons for reaching (WAFCON)f 2023 final. So far so good, the ladies have tried, just that they need to improve more, and not play like they played against Botswana and Algeria in the group stage because they find it so difficult to break their defence , and playing against Morocco, the coach Justine Madugu’s side need to work more in that scoring area”
“Though, the super falcons and the Moroccan Ladies play similar football , they like to possess the ball and dominate,but Super Falcons have power, space, and the strength.
“They must know how to man over there way to have an edge over Morocco in the final”
” Super Falcons have done well . Rasheedat Ajibade’s talent, skills and techniques make her a stand out player so far in this competition , for her to win three different man of the Match, she has done well for herself and the team”
“NFF can give Coach Justine Maidugu permanent job, for me, he has done well. I have been predicting since the beginning of this competition, Super Falcons will defeat Morocco by 2-1 or win by penalty if the game ends in a draw.
