
The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Information Chapel (NUJIC), on Tuesday, paid a congratulatory visit to the newly appointed Executive Secretary of Board for Technical and Vocational Education (BOTAVED), Mr. Babatunde Ajibike, assuring the agency of its continuous support and cooperation.
The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Chapel, Comrade Ismail Fasasi, congratulated the Executive Secretary on his appointment, describing it as putting “a round peg in a round hole.”

Comrade Fasasi noted that the appointment was a welcome development capable of advancing the objectives and mandates of the Agency.

He reaffirmed the union’s commitment to sustaining a cordial working relationship with the Executive Secretary in his new position.

On behalf of members of the chapel, he assured the agency of continuous media support through professional journalism, effective publicity, and adequate coverage of Agency’s programmes and activities.
Responding, the new Executive Secretary, Mr. Babatunde Ajibike, appreciated Almighty God for the elevation and expressed gratitude to the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, as well as the Head of Service, for finding him worthy of the appointment.
He pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him and appreciated members of NUJIC for the visit, describing the gesture as highly commendable and encouraging.
Mr. Ajibike also assured the chapel of his readiness to maintain a good working relationship with the union, stressing the important role of the media in promoting public awareness and projecting the activities of the Agency to the wider public.
