Federal government governments has been doing wonderfully well for the present National Sports Commission under their Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko and Director General, Honourable Bukola Olopade.
What President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing is that he sent the approved budget fund to the NSC which they now disbursed directly to the players without NFF input. Confirm this please.
We all keep blaming the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on this issue but the truth is that NFF isn’t directly funded; the Federal Government allocates funds to the National Sports Commission (NSC) which then disburses to the NFF. Had NFF not given players and officials what belongs to them, NSC would have issued them a query.

Now that there is crisis, NSC has sought the funds to be given to the players directly? But the pressure is on NFF that is not the custodian of the funds.
Without these funds, NFF is incapacitated with NSC as the conduit for it.
I feel the money received from the government should always be disbursed immediately to the players , and officially through the governing body whose primary assignment is the national teams.
