Crown FC unveils Deji Ayeni as New Technical Adviser

The management of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, have officially engaged the services of Coach Deji Ayeni as Technical Adviser, ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria National Football League (NNL) season.

Coach Deji Ayeni was unveiled on Wednesday by the Oyo State Ministry Of Youth and Sports, headed by Hon. Ms. Wasilat Adegoke, the Honourable Commissioner at her office in Ibadan.

Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner expressed her enthusiasm about his appointment, emphasizing the state government’s dedication to repositioning the club as a dominant force in Nigerian football.

She highlighted Coach Ayeni’s experience and expertise, stating that he will bring new levels of excitement and achievements to the team under his guidance.

She noted that the appointment of Coach Ayeni reflects the state government’s commitment to investing in football development in Oyo State, with a focus on creating a strong and competitive squad that will make the people of Oyo State proud.

Honourable Adegoke charged Coach Ayeni to ensure promotion to the first division football league in the upcoming season.

In response, Coach Ayeni expressed his gratitude for the appointment and his eagerness to begin work with Crown FC,Ogbomoso.

He promised to work diligently to ensure the team’s success and to make them a source of pride for Oyo State.

Coach Deji Ayeni had spells with Akwa United and Sunshine Stars of Akure .

Present at the unveiling were the Permanent Secretary of the Youth and Sports Ministry, Mrs. Bukola Oladipo, Director of Sports Administration, Mrs. Olubisi Adegoke, the Chairman , Oyo State Football Association, Oba James Odeniran and the Secretary to the Oyo State Football Association, Mr Kehinde Ojelowo .
