Encomium As El-kanemi Warriors Return to Home Soil After Gaining Promotion to NPFL

Borno State Club Owners and other Relevant stakeholders gathered yesterday to receive the players and management of El- Kanemi Warriors back in the state following their spectacular performances at the just concluded NNL super 8 in Enugu .

It was a celebration gallon at the Colonel Abdulmumin Aminu Camp, Maiduguri as soccer fans converged to celebrate the team for their return to the Nigeria Premier football league.

The team ended the NNL super 8 campaign with six points from three games .

The Chairman, Borno State Club Owners Association, Ibrahim Abubakar Mohammed, expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the team .

He called on fans and supporters of the club to be law abiding before , during and after each game especially while playing at home .

In his remarks, the Secretary of the team , Alhaji Mustapha Bura , lauded the Club Owners and the teeming fans for their tremendous support throughout the league season .
