Eruwa Polytechnic Emerges Best Third Polytechnic In Nigeria

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board ( JAMB) , has ranked Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic , Eruwa the best third Polytechnic in Nigeria .

This was announced by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede at the National Tertiary Admission Performance Merit Award and 2024 Policy Meeting on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions , organized by JAMB in Abuja.

The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Salihu Adelabu , who expressed joy that the Institution was rated best among its counterparts, noted that the state government’s general reform of the education sector is beginning to yield positive results.

He commended the Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his commitment to delivering quality education across the state.

The commissioner also lauded the Management, Staff, and students of the Polytechnic, saying that the feat is a testimony of the hard work, determination, commitment, and dedication of major stakeholders.

He specifically commended the Oyo state Governor for his untiring efforts at ensuring the Institution gets all the needed support to help create the enabling environment for learning and research to thrive.

The National Tertiary Admission Performance Merit Award programme was attended by vice-chancellors of universities, rectors of polytechnics, monotechnics, and innovation enterprise institutes, provosts of colleges of education, and other critical stakeholders, to consider and approve the guidelines for the 2024 admission exercise.

The gathering also reviewed the performance of the 2023 admissions exercise and the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME performance of candidates.
