The Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) has presented a Certificate of Return to the governor elect in Osun State, Ademola Adeleke.
The presentation was done on Wednesday, August 19 at the Commission State Headquarters in Osogbo.
Adeleke’s running mate and deputy governor of the state, Prince Kola Adewusi also received the Certificate of Return .
It would be recalled that Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party defeated Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress , the closest contender, and other candidates during the governorship election held on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
