Maiden Nigeria Youth League Cup kicks off September 8

The maiden edition of the Nigeria Youth League Cup ( NYLC) is expected to kick off September 8, 2024 .

Thirty ( 30) youth teams, including Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Lobi Stars, Sunshine Stars amongst others have shown interest in the championship in which the eventual champions would be rewarded with Forty Million Naira (#40,000000.00) when the league ends in April 2025.

The N-Youth League Cup is an elite tournament, a youth development program with the mission of providing world class football experience and competition for teenagers and young adults between the ages of 16-19.

Meanwhile, Lobi Stars, AS Roma, Kwara United, Kano Pillars, Yobe Desert Warriors, ABS FC have been grouped into group A .

While Rangers International, Abia Warriors, Akwa United, Shooting Stars, Gateway FC, Enyimba FC, Sunshine Stars are to compete in group B .
