The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has reshuffled his cabinet, redeploying Prof. Salihu Adelabu to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives, while swearing in Dr. Bode Ladipo as the Commissioner for Establishment and Training.
Governor Makinde announced the changes on Monday during a swearing-in ceremony held at the Executive Council (Exco) Chamber, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
The governor explained that the cabinet reshuffle was aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing service delivery across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
He stressed that the appointments and redeployments should not be interpreted as a reflection of the performance of any public official but as part of efforts to improve government effectiveness and ensure optimal service delivery to the people of Oyo State.
