NPFL records away wins as Rivers United extends Unbeaten run

Rivers United and El-kanemi Warriors on Saturday secured three points each away from home during the Match Day Three fixtures of the 2024/ 2025 Nigeria Premier Football League ( NPFL).

Rivers United beat Lobi Stars by a lone at the Lafia City Stadium, courtesy of Kabir Abdullahi’s late strike .

The result increased the unbeaten run of Coach Finidi George led side to three since he joined the club .

In the second game of the day, El-kanemi Warriors defeated Nasarawa United (4-3) in Lafia City Stadium. Anas Yusuf’s hattrick was not enough for the host to carry the day .
