Over 4000 candidates write 2023/2024 five compulsory exam
–as Oyo Education Commissioner lauds commitment of Oyo Civil Workers
Over 4000 officers in the civil service of Oyo State, comprising of
Administrative Executives, Professional Cadres and Local Government Service, sat for the 2023/24 compulsory examination.
Addressing newsmen during the monitoring exercise of the examination, held at the four Centers within Ibadan metropolis, the Commission for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Salihu Adelabu, expressed satisfaction at the conduct of the examination and the commitment of participants in the five compulsory papers.
He explained that the examination will make
officers to further understand their roles, responsibilities and limitations in the Civil Service.
He assured workers in the state that the current administration would not relent in providing necessary resources and support to improve their productivity.
He appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for approving the examination and creating an enabling working environment for civil servants to flourish and focus on the discharge of their duties.
Speaking on behalf of the candidates, Mr. Adegoke Ibraheem of the Ministry of Information and Orientation and Mrs. Ojuola Temilola from Local Government Service Commission, lauded the state government and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology for the conduct of the examination.
The monitoring exercise was attended by the Coordinating Director, Mrs Christiana Bolaji and other Directors from the Ministry.
