OYO BORN WEIGHT LIFTER EMERGES OVERALL CHAMPION At INTERNATIONAL MEET IN CANADA

An Oyo born, Canada based Athlete, Oluwashina Ojediran popularly known as (Emmy Tee) , has put the country’s name on the world map after clinching the ultimate prize at the just concluded weight lifting Championship, the MEN PHYSIQUE NATURAL CATEGORY tagged, “Sudbury Classic Championship 2024 “held in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

The event which paraded worldly renowned stars in body weight world over, saw the Oyo East Local Government indigene, surpassing all expectations to beat all other contenders to emerge the overall champion.

Oluwashina Ojediran , who had been in the weight lifting business for some time, was full of praises and thanks to the Almighty God who had made the feat possible.

‘ Winning the overall Championship prize for Men Physique Natural Category is an amazing experience which I will savor for the rest of my career. I dedicate this victory to God, my family, coaches, fans and well wishers’

He also thanked the Organizers of the event for the excellent coordination and the judges for their accurate assessment.

He promised not to rest on his oars as he’s determined to bring more honours to his family and Father land at large.

Back at home, Oluwashina Emmanuel Ojediran owns a Fitness outlet tagged EMMY TEE FITNESS where young talents are nurtured to achieve their dreams.

He also sponsors a Fitness championship ‘ EMMY TEE WALK AND FITNESS COMPETITION biannually where talents are discovered in various games like gymnastics, judo, Long and short distance races,table tennis amongst others.

The last edition was held in 2022 under the chairmanship of late Alaafin of Oyo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111.

Emmy Tee also owns a foundation where he engages in series of charity works for the less privileged in Oyo and its environs.

He had emerged runners up at the 2022 Sudbury Classic Championship before winning it this year.
