Oyo Muslim Community Condoles Gov. Makinde Over Brother’s Demise

The Muslim Community of Oyo State, MUSCOYS has expressed its heartfelt sympathy to the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde over the demise of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.
The message was conveyed during a condolence visit to the Ikolaba GRA residence of Governor Makinde in Ibadan on Friday.
On behalf of MUSCOYS, the 14-man delegation was led by the President, Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria, MUSWEN, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo.
The MUSWEN which has its headquarters in Ibadan, is the parent body for all state Muslim Communities and Councils across the six South West States of Oyo, Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo and Osun.
MUSCOYS has the General Secretary, Alhaji Murisiku Siyanbade as the host.
Leading the prayer session for the deceased, the pioneer Executive Secretary, MUSWEN, Professor Daud Noibi condoled the Governor on the loss of his brother, pointing out that death is an inevitable end of every mortal.

Professor Noibi noted that the Ummah urged Governor Makinde to take solace in the testimonies that the deceased lived impactful, and fulfilled life dedicated to the service of humanity.
“We pray God to strengthen Your Excellency in this difficult time. Every soul shall taste death at appointed time”, Noibi enjoined.
The President, Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria, MUSWEN, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo delivered a deep sympathy message on behalf of the Muslims in the South West.
Alhaji Oladejo prayed Allah to guard, guide and grant the governor and the entire Makinde family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of a worthy community leader who had bequeathed an indelible legacies.
Addressing the delegation, Governor Seyi Makinde appreciated the Muslim Ummah for the prayers and condolence visit during this grieving moment.
Governor Makinde said he has accepted the passing of his brother as God’s decree.
