According to decisions reached during the meeting, promotional materials will be developed and circulated to attract new members and expand the group’s reach. Interested people are to reach out to Dr. Tobiloba Ojo via WhatsApp DM on 08139526544.

The Executive also resolved that it would continue to anchor the group’s sessions for the time being. However, from August, members who demonstrate strong participation during the month of July, particularly through engagement with the Book of the Month, will be given opportunities to anchor sessions.
The meeting reviewed the organization’s administrative and legal affairs as it approaches one year of registration under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). A comprehensive audit of activities and records is currently underway, while consultants and other professionals have been engaged to review the organization’s books and documents as part of efforts to strengthen its legal framework.

Discussions during the meeting also focused on activating the division of roles and responsibilities within the organization and documenting plans for future activities.
Among the future projects highlighted is the establishment of a physical library, with Ibadan identified as a major area of focus. The group also disclosed plans to pursue strategic collaborations with other organizations.
Further proposals considered include partnerships with selected hotels to provide library sections containing books stamped by The Winning Team. The initiative is intended to make books more accessible to readers. The group is also exploring collaboration with airlines to make free books available to passengers during flights.
The proposed annual get-together was another major item on the agenda. After considering Ibadan and Abeokuta as possible venues, the Executive resolved to hold the event in Lagos. The gathering is expected to take place in the last quarter of the year.
To facilitate preparations, a committee has been constituted to develop a detailed travel plan and coordinate arrangements for the event.
The meeting ended with resolutions to proceed with the membership drive, continue the ongoing audit and legal review processes, and commence planning activities for the Lagos get-together.
