Alaafin Returns To Nigeria Ahead of Coronation Ceremony

It was a joyous moment on Wednesday as eminent personalities, families , friends and associates gathered at the Muritala International Airport, Lagos , to receive the Imperial Majesty, Alaafin of Oyo , Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, who left the country for Manitoba in Canada , shortly after receiving the certificate and staff of office .

The atmosphere at the airport shows that Oba Owoade is eager to be back to the country as cultural group electrified the airport with cultural display in which the King danced to the rhythm majestically.

Recall that various committees have been set up for the coronation billed for 5th of April , 2025 at Olivet Baptist High School , Oyo , and the early return of Oba Owoade from his base is commendable .

This platform also gathered that the king is working on a private medical center to be established in Oyo town to complement the efforts of the Oyo state government in the health care delivery.
