Oyo State Government has withdrew the criminal charges filed against Naomi Silekunola , the ex- wife of Ooni of Ife , Chairman, Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamsat and the Principal of Islamic High School, Bashorun , Ibadan , Abdullahi Fasasi over the stampede that occured in the school late last year.
Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Oyo State , Abiodun Aikomo, confirmed this in an interview with journalists shortly after the court session on Thursday in Ibadan.
He hinted that all the family members of victims of the disaster have been compensated by the defendant.
The court discharged and acquitted the three defendants, Oriyomi, Naomi and Principal .
