Ilaji Boss Unveils Electric Motorcycles, Solar -Powered Tricycles In Ibadan

Ibadan born International Business Mogul , owner of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi , has unveiled the first batch of electronic motorcycles and solar – powered tricycles for transportation services in the state .

The transportation means powered by the business mogul is expected to reduce the challenges associated with transportation system in the localities.

Speaking on Tuesday during the unveiling at Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State , Chief Dotun Sanusi , said adopting green technology to combat environment challenges at jet age is inevitable .

He explained that the introduction of solar powered tricycles and electronic motorcycles would assist in reducing air pollution, thereby promoting a healthier environment.

He noted that the development was part of his resolved commitment to providing efficient, cost – effective transportation options for residents of Oyo state .

He said : The arrival of these electric motorcycles and solar-powered tricycles is a testament to our dedication to the economic development of our beloved state”

“This transformation will offer lower operating costs compared to traditional petrol-powered means of transportation, making them an economically viable option for many.

Community leaders and residents of Akaran, Amuloko, Olunloyo, Adesola, Olorunsogo and environs expressed their excitement and gratitude for this innovative initiative.

They also praised Sanusi’s vision and leadership in driving this change, noting the positive impacts it will have on the state’s transportation infrastructure and environmental sustainability.

As the first electric motorcycles and solar-powered tricycles begin to operate in Ilaji, the state is poised to become a leader in green transportation within Nigeria.
