NPFL: Heartland, Kwara United , Abia Warriors Suffer Home Defeats As 3SC Secures Away Draw

The 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), opening round produced shocking results as three away teams proved superiority over their hosts on Sunday.

Shooting Stars of Ibadan snatched a point off Nasarawa United in Lafia .while Rivers United held Bendel Insurance to a goalless draw despite being a man disadvantaged.

However, Lobi Stars will host Akwa United on Monday at the Lafia Township Stadium to conclude the fixtures for match day one.
