Oyo Education Sector Battles Security Sector In 2024 Inter- Sectorial Football Competition Final

Education Sector Football Club of the Oyo State Civil Service will today slug it out with the Security Sector in the much anticipated final match of the Oyo State 2024 Inter – Sectorial Football Competition.
Education Sector vowed to emerge victorious in the final match slated for 4pm at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba , Ibadan.
Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Salihu Adelabu, while addressing the team ahead of the game at the Conference Room of the Ministry, Agodi , Secretariat , Ibadan , called on the players to play by the rules of the game and see it as a novelty match .
He harped on the need for them to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship during the match and beyond .
Prof . Adelabu hinted that the ministry is working assiduously to promote sporting activities in public schools across the state.
He prayed for their victory
at the end of the match.
Also speaking, Coach of the team, Mr. Akinosun Sunday, said that the team has been training intensively to perfect their strategy and technique .
He called on their supporters to come out en masse to cheer them to victory.
