Paris Olympics: Nigeria Quartet lost Women’s 4x100m final spot relay heat

Team Nigeria quartet of Justina Eyakpobeyan, Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma and Tima Godbless finished 6th in heat 2 of women’s 4x100m at the Paris Olympics .

They missed out on an automatic position into the final having finished the relay heat , 42.60 seconds.

Team USA finished the women’s 4x100m relay heat clear of the rest, thanks to a strong finish by Sha’Carri Richardson.

The British quartet of Bianca Williams, Imani Lansiquot, Amy Hunt and Desiree Henry won the second heat while France came 2nd in 42.13 seconds . Jamaica posted a time of 42.35 seconds to came 3rd.
