Shooting Stars’ Technical Adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, Emerges LBA Manager of the Month

Technical Adviser of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, has emerged the League Bloggers Award (LBA) Manager of the month for April.

The Oluyole Warriors’ sweat merchant, clinched the award, following the superlative run of his side during the month in review .

Shooting Stars won four out of five matches played in April, scoring eight goals .

The former Sunshine Stars, Remo Stars, Lobi Stars, Rangers International and the defunct Sharks FC tactician, beat the trio of Fidelis Ilechukwu of Rangers International, Stanley Eguma, Rivers United, and Niger Tornadoes’ Majin Mohammed, to the award.

Similarly, Clipton Jeptha of Niger Tornadoes won the players’ award ahead of Remo Stars, hitman , Sikiru Alimi, Deputy Echeta of Rivers United, Micheal Ibe of Katsina United, Junior Lokosa of Sporting Lagos, and Ubong Friday of Akwa United.

The striker recorded three wins in five matches , scoring five goals for his side.

Also, Deputy Echeta’s goal for Rivers United against Plateau United emerged as April’s Fans Goal of the Month.
