The 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season continued in thrilling fashion as Matchday 10 produced a mix of surprises, drama, and impressive performances across the country.

Warri Wolves displayed attacking brilliance at home as they brushed aside Bayelsa United with a convincing 2–0 scoreline.

In Katsina, Katsina United edged El-Kanemi Warriors 1–0 in a competitive encounter that kept the home fans cheering till the final whistle. Niger Tornadoes produced one of the biggest shocks of the weekend by defeating Kano Pillars 2–0 on home soil, leaving the home supporters stunned.

Wikki Tourists continued their fine run of form with a comfortable 2–0 victory over Shooting Stars in Bauchi, while Abia Warriors made light work of Barau FC, also winning 2–0 in Umuahia.
Kun Khalifat and Bendel Insurance battled to a 1–1 draw in an evenly matched game, while Plateau United secured an important 2–1 win against Enyimba International in Jos, further strengthening their push for the top of the table. In Enugu, Rangers International and Kwara United played out a goalless draw, as neither side could find the breakthrough in a match filled with missed chances.
Two fixtures remain outstanding in Matchday 10: Rivers United will face Ikorodu City on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, while Nasarawa United will host Remo Stars on Wednesday, 5th November 2025.
Attention now shifts to Matchday 11, scheduled between 31st October and 2nd November 2025. The NPFL fixtures promise another weekend of exciting football as Kano Pillars aim to bounce back when they host Wikki Tourists, while Shooting Stars will face a tough test against Plateau United. Enyimba International will seek redemption at home against Kun Khalifat, and Kwara United will lock horns with Abia Warriors.
Elsewhere, Bayelsa United will welcome Rangers International, Bendel Insurance will take on Warri Wolves, and El-Kanemi Warriors will hope to return to winning ways when they face Niger Tornadoes. Ikorodu City will battle Katsina United, while Remo Stars host Rivers United—pending the completion of their Matchday 10 clash. Nasarawa United will conclude the round with a home game against Barau FC.
